Policy Work
We believe we're strongest when we work together. That's why, with the help of storytellers and advocates, we're going to take our mission to the policy level. Using the reality of the care gap, we're going to make meaningful and systemic change.
Stories are what fuel our work.
Once we're equipped with an abundance of real-life anecdotes of medical inequity, we plan on approaching the Women's Health Caucuses of as many states as possible. Ultimately, of course, our goal is to make substantial change on the national scale, but local and state governments are a great place to start. Some examples of the impact we could have ranges from encouraging insurance companies cover the testing required to diagnose conditions that are predominantly found in women, to enforcing more representation of women in medical advisory boards.
