Storytelling and Advocacy Series
Real stories can mean real change. Our quarterly magazine shares women’s voices, lived experiences, and ideas that spark understanding, compassion, and action in the fight for better health.
The Storytelling & Advocacy Initiative is Ova’s flagship platform for elevating lived experiences, underrepresented perspectives, and expert knowledge in women’s health. Each issue combines compelling first-person narratives, investigative features, interviews, and visually engaging design to bridge the gap between personal stories and systemic change. By weaving together storytelling, advocacy, and accessible health information, the magazine aims to challenge stigma, address healthcare inequities, and mobilize readers toward action. Writers, editors, and graphic designers will work collaboratively to produce a publication that informs, empowers, and unites communities, serving as both a creative outlet and a catalyst for reform in women’s health policy and practice.
